Privacy

We store:

• your email address, plan, and time zone
• an optional phone number, if you give one when you create an account or subscribe. The free check does not ask for a phone number. If you tick the box that says we may call you about your report and plan, we store that time. We do not call people who left the box unchecked.
• whether you asked for a few follow-up emails about a free check. Those emails go only to people who opted in and have not unsubscribed.
• websites you add, plus brand name, aliases, category, and competitors
• the questions we ask, the answers we get, and the scores we calculate
• a hashed IP address on free checks, used to limit abuse
• which upgrade message you were shown, so we can compare the two versions

Stripe handles card details. We do not store the card number.

We do not sell personal information. This page is still a draft, and that is the rule we are building to.

A retention period is not decided yet. Email support@madetheanswer.com if you want your data deleted. We will pass the request on. We are not promising a number of days.
